The Remote Ground Control Station, created from the ergonomics studies carried out for the development of the Dynamic Control Station and Remote Control Desk, represents a further development of the innovative Brieda Cabins system designed for the wellbeing and comfort of the port crane operator.
The Remote Ground Control Station allows to recreate in any location an immersive environment, fully similar to the one inside the cabin, where the operator can easily work remotely.
The workstation is made of a control station studied to keep an ergonomic posture and a series of monitors with view on the operative area. The control station is electrically adjustable to adapt to every operator.
Thanks to the special joystick designed by Brieda Cabins Dynamic Project team shoulders, elbows and wrists are supported and bear a minimum working load.
All the Remote Ground Control Stations are designed, engineered, built and tested internally by Brieda Cabins’ Dynamic Project Team in order to guarantee our customers the highest possible quality standard at every stage of the production process.
In the instrumental evaluation, the inertial system of movement analysis MVN Biomech Awinda (X-sens – NL) was used.
